Dancers
Full time
Trained practitioners of any style of dance or similar physical background, with stage experience are welcome to apply. Apart from your dancing, an understanding of and enthusiasm to be a team player is an added plus.
Part-Time Dance Employment
You can dance part-time with us, depending on the availability and requirement of the projects that the company is working on. If your dance potential, skill and stage prowess are impressive we may even place you in our mega-productions. You will typically be paid on a project basis (for travel/rehearsal/showcase), and have a discount rate to Nritarutya’s training sessions twice a week.
Audition process:
- After you submit your details to info@nritarutya.com/madhuri@nritarutya.com, you will be given a slot for auditions.
- You will usually be taught a dance routine which you will have to grasp in a short span of time and perform.
- Do not worry about getting it perfectly right as the professionals watching you know what they are looking for.
- Usually it’s your sincerity and professionalism followed by skill, presentation, ability to grasp, your body’s capacity
to adapt and your comfort level with anything new. - Typically, a day or two is taken to review an audition. So call back after three days to know the result.
- Do not fret if you are not selected, attend our dance classes and come back more confidently for a second round of auditions.
Support team – Developing dancers as artists
- Can you plan , strategize, organize ?
- Can you talk business?
- Can you handle administrative duty?
- Can you work with – and manage – teams?
- Can you do content writing?
- Can you design-costumes? sets? graphics?
- Are you looking to work as a project intern?
- Do you want to be in charge of productions?
- Challenges there are a-plenty, and the rewards are handsome too!
There are also part time positions open for young people, who are students or young people who have alternative commitments and can only work part time.
