For the past one week, the company is breathing, talking, eating, walking and sleeping just this production. Needless to say we are all excited about how this production turns up and how we, as artistes, grow along with it. Working on such a huge production with 80 dancers is no small feat. The immense coordination and team work it requires is just too vast in magnitude to put in words.

Our choreographer Mayuri Upadhya along with designing the dance piece, is also working on the set design, the music design, costume design, stage set up and light design. And now that’s taking the word “multi-tasking” to a whole new level. And it’s not just Mayuri alone; the associate directors of the company- Madhuri and Geetha are also actively involved in the entire creative journey, doing jobs that fall outside the realms of their usual work. Assisting them with complete enthusiasm are the dancers of the team doing sharing as much work as they can. And the guest dancers from Bangalore have shown an amazing level of professionalism and commitment to make things run as smoothly as possible.
